Selecting that right wall color for your home can be a huge challenge! Thankfully each of the paint manufacturer's create smaller collections of colors that are tried and true - good neutrals that work in most spaces. Above is the "Color Confidence" card from Hirshfields with their best sellers. It can be hard to picture colors on an entire wall space, we suggest getting samples of your favorite color and sample the paint in a 8x8 inch square to visualize the colors and make your decision.
BEST NEUTRAL COLORS
Another tool is The Essentials Off Whites & Neutrals card from Hirshfields. These are a curated group of classic colors used here in the midwest. We see colors like 0530 "Metro" and 0175 "3AM Latte" selected for homes as the main color, with 0474 "Raindance" and 0476 "Lighthouse View" as happy colors for baths, laundry rooms & bedrooms.

His top picks are 0210 "Hidden Cove" (warm neutral) and 0538 "Santo" (cooler neutral). These two colors are crowd favorites and look gorgeous on the wall! They are also colors that are known for going well with accent walls and are neutral enough for most designs.
