It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are always very busy around my house. Since we have such a large family, there are always relatives coming to stay with us. For this purpose, I have created a list of 5 things that you can do in your home to spruce your guest room up for the holidays!
ONE
Extra bedding. I enjoy the temperature in my room set to 65* and often sleep with the window open through the cool months; however, most of my guests do not. Leave lots of extra bedding around the guest room for them to pick and choose from to make their stay more comfortable. I love the chunky look of this blanket for the cool season.

3. Add an area rug! Cold weather brings cold floors… and toes! An area rug can completely change the mood of the space and make it much more inviting for your guests!

What used to only be seen in your grandmother’s house can now make an amazing statement in all parts of your home, including your guest room. Planning all meals ahead of time allows you to spend more time with your guests and reduce those last second grocery store runs.
